Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
Grab your current read and open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here's mine:

I'll play, but my Kindle does not go by page numbers. This is the beginning of chapter 11, location (lines) 3347-51.
Safia woke in a cell, disoriented and nauseated. The dark room spun and jittered as she moved her head.
Sandstorm, by James Rollins
Jo, I like James Rollins books! Good teaser - now I'll have to read this one to see what happens to Safia!
Sharon, yes I am really enjoying my Kindle! It is such an easy way to carry 10 or more books at a time. With an SD card too, I could probably have 30 or more books. You can download a new release for about $9.99, and many others are less. Occasionally, Amazon will offer a book by a new author, or a little-known author for free. You can read a sample before you buy, read reviews, and of course there are newspapers and lots of other things available. It is way cool.
