I listened to this and lovet it. I found the elderly newspaper men to be charming, very likable. The story (well, according to them it is NOT a story) of the Colorado Kid was told through these two to the rookie who was interning with them. The dialog was wonderful. Even though this was published as a Hard Case noir novel I didn't feel it was. It was much too warm and cozy for that. I am not generally a fan of unsolved mysteries but I did like this one.
