The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown

I've been wanting to read this newest adventure of Robert Landon for a while. I didn't like is as much as the first two, but thought is was still a good read. There was a lot about the Science of Noetics which I found interesting but I was disappointed that it didn't have much to do with the story.

Below Zero by C.J. Box

I've enjoyed all the books in the Joe Pickett series and this is no exception. The Eco-twist in this is scary. Joe is always the good guy trying to do what is right.

Bitterroot by James Lee Burke

This is the third book in Burke's Billy Bob Holland series. It was a good read. Burke is one of my all time favorite authors.

The Overlook by Michael Connelly

Just what you'd expect from Connelly. A great mystery with a twist. I have to get Echo Park.

The Princess of Burundi by Kjell Eriksson

This was a good mystery, round about, set in Sweden.

Fever Dream by Preston and Child

Another good book in this series!

The Bone Man's Daughters by Ted Dekker

Scary and suspenseful. However, this hero was not my favorite type. When he was most needed he broke down crying uncontrollably (over guilty feelings to do with his daughter), with the Boneman in the next room. I put it down and finally went back to it and finished it. It really was a good read.

Thereby Hangs a Tail by Spencer Quinn

Loved it! These two detectives have captured my heart. Can't wait till the next one comes out.

The Shepherd of the Hills by Harold Bell Wright

This book, orginaly printed in 1907, is one of my all time favorites. I've read it several times over the years. At one point in my life I lived in Missouri not too far from the seting of this wonderful book. If you haven't read it, I highly reccomend it.

Falling Man by Don DeLillo

The beginning was a chilling depection of one of the main characters as he got out of the first tower after it was destroyed and followed him to his ex wife's home. After that I guess I just didn't get it. It is fragmented, the story kept going back and forth in time. I found it depressing. It was not an easy read.

Arguing With Idiots by Glenn Beck

What can I say? Depending on where I was in the book I laughed, scratched my head, was offended, laughed again and was shocked.Overall, I enjoyed reading this.

The Golden One by Elizabeth Peters

This is the second book I've read in this series and I enjoyed it. The time period is what makes it for me.
