It kept me coming back. The main story, finding a stolen ancient document, helped build the ongoing story of the tension between the lonejack community and the Council nicely. Can't wait to get on with the next one!

Sounds like a fun series.
I don't know how many of the free Kindle books you've downloaded, but if you have The Briar King I'd love to know what you think. I don't want to give too much away, but I found it extremely frustrating. I'm not going to continue on with that series.
