Rhett Butler's People by Donald McCaig

I enjoyed this companion piece to Gone With the Wind.

I have loved Rhett for years and enjoyed McCaig's fleshing out of the young Rhett. I liked the ending of this novel, but thought that the Scarlett character was a bit out of character. If you are a GWTW fan you will like this story and the new characters created, especially Rosemary, Rhett's sister.
